Note: “les cretons” is a traditional meat pate which is spread on toast and often served with mustard as a sandwich.
Comment: No Franco-American person in Lowell would go very long without having one of these meals.
Naturally, for breakfast, there would be a choice of “galettes”, which resemble our pancakes, and also Crepes, a more refined fare.
